Call for Workshops

The organizing committee of CCI2020 invites all interested professionals to hold workshops in conjunction with the main event. The workshops are designed to provide a unique opportunity to introduce industry enthusiasts and university students to the different paradigms, available tools as well as emerging topics in computational intelligence. These workshops can also be used to illustrate problems in the industry and introduce successful examples of industrial implementation of artificial intelligence in various industries. All respected applicants are requested to conduct the workshops in an interactive manner and to include sections for discussion, questions and answers for participants to share their ideas.

Workshops can be held in two hours, half or full day events depending on the scope and the contents of the workshop.

Proposal Details

Proposals are limited to five pages and should contain the following information:

· Workshop title.

· Organizers information (names, affiliations, email addresses and phone numbers; identify one person as the primary contact person)

· Short biographical sketch for each organizer, describing relevant qualifications and experience

· Motivation for why a CCI2020 workshop on this topic is needed

· Description of the workshop: abstract, objectives, goals, relevance to CCI2020, and expected outcomes

· Description of target audience and estimated number of participants

· Workshop duration format (two hours / half day / full day), activities, and topics.

· Target audience description, participants' scientific or practical prerequisites and estimates of the number of participants.

· List of workshop organizing committee members

· Preliminary list of invited speakers (if any)

· Hardware and software facilities needed for the workshop.

All proposals will be evaluated by the Workshops Committee and selected proposals will be announced as soon as possible. At the end of the congress, the Workshop Committee will present to the presenters a certificate of appreciation and special appreciation for the selected workshop(s).

Accordingly, all those interested from industries and universities, scientific and professional associations, organizations and researchers are invited to submit proposals for workshops related to AI to the Workshops Chair, Dr. Aliakbar Akbari (akbari[AT}um.ac.ir), and the CCI2020 secretariate (cci@um.ac.ir), by December 22^nd (extended deadline)
