The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our top priority. After considering the most recent advisories by the MSRT and the ministry of health, as well as consulting with our sponsoring scientific societies (IFSS, ISSSI, and the IEEE), the CFIS2020 Organizing Committee has decided to reschedule the conference to Sept 2-4, 2020. Accordingly, we hope that the outbreak is well under control by September and that we can physically hold the conference in Mashhad. Additionally, we have also decided to give our respected authors the option to present their papers using the internet, if this is their decision.

We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments with the Coronavirus outbreak. If it is deemed necessary, we will be prepared to move the Congress to an entirely virtual event. If so, we will also be making a final determination on new, reduced registration fees.

More details on the above will be announced in July of 2020. The presentation of nearly 160 papers, ten keynote lectures, and five plenary sessions is promising to be a memorable and exciting event in 2020.
